What is Keystrokes?
Keystrokes is a place where students can showcase and share their artistic abilities with the ECOT community. It is not limited to stories or poetry, but also plays, drawing, paintings and more. If you have something artistic to share, we want to see it. Last year was the first year students were able to be involved in Keystrokes, helping Ms. Gerdeman and Ms. Thomas edit, proofread and discuss submissions made to the magazine.
Who submits to Keystrokes?
All submissions are done through your teachers. You submit them to him/her and then they submit them to the Keystrokes advisors.
Will everyone who submits to Keystrokes be featured in the journal?
We would love nothing more than to showcase everyone's amazing talent. Sometimes, we have to limit the number for the sake of space, variety, and various other reasons. If your work isn't chosen for the journal, please do NOT think that you are not talented or gifted. Believe us, when we say that if your work was chosen for submission, regardless of whether or not it is chosen, your teacher thought your submission was special and that means that it is. So keep writing and creating ...and if you have an artistic piece you'd like to share, please let your teacher know and submit your work. We cannot wait to showcase what your talents and expression! Keep creating!
